History
The Cable Directory
The owner, Mike Knox, has been associated with the electrical cables and Oil and Gas industry since the early years of North Sea production. Mike has been actively involved in the OGP and cable sector industries across the world including the Caspian Region, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, USA and Australia. His cable sector electrical experience and industry knowledge was the foundation to the creation of The Cable Directory, Red Mist Media's first product.
Your Industry News
In 2006, due to clients demand combined with our international knowledge relating to the oil and gas industry, Red Mist Media introduced Your Industry News. Your Industry News launched with twelve associated industry domains which included amongst others Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Subsea, Shipbuilding, Communication, Defence, Metals, Mining, Nuclear and Renewables. Subsequent demand for specialisation and focus within the oil and gas industries led to us creating further websites that covered the oil industry sectors more comprehensively.
ProjectsOGP
In 2010 ProjectsOGP.com was added to our portfolio, an online business information application that holds a database of oil and gas projects from around the globe. RMM's wealth of knowledge on the oil industry from its other sites is utilised together with our research team to provide the backbone of the projects database. The information available gives our clients the opportunity to expand their business across the different sectors internationally and globally. Information available in relation to each project includes companies involved, and updates on the project throughout its lifecycle. Clients can subscribe to our database for an annual fee.
